Picked this up yesterday off the used rack at Harbour. A super classic Yater Spoon shaped by Renny Yater!

Today, I bought a fin for the new board at Thalia Surf Shop down in Laguna. Thalia recently caught some heat for celebrating MLK day by offering a 20% discount on all black colored items in the store. I showed my support of their sense of humor by paying full price on a new black fin.

Somewhere on the Pacific in the cruise ship's theater, I sat with hundreds of others playing 4 games of Bingo. Game 2, I won. $400 bucks split with one other winner. This photo is of the final "blackout" game which payed $3,500. I was ONE away from the prize when some old lady stood up and screamed "BINGO!". For kicks, they called out what the next ball was, "O 61".

Pacific System Homes Surfboards was the first surfboard company and this was their groovy logo until 1940. This one was at Doheny in November. I'm not sure what they're worth but I overheard a fella talkin' about only a few are known to be around and one sold for over 25 grand. But there may be some bootleg versions out there. Eyes peeled.

Hawaiian Breakfast Jew

My new morning brew. The Hawaiian Breakfast Jew.

What you'll need:
Hebrew National Hot Dogs(original, not reduced fat)
Large Eggs
Buns
Shredded cheese
Butter
Salt n' Pepper

Grill(bbq) hotdog or fry in pan with butter. Fry egg in butter until over medium. Salt n' pepper egg while in pan after the flip. Open hotdog bun and place in buttery pan until golden brown on outside. Once cooked, place dog on top of egg in bun and add cheese. Serve with rice, grapes and pineapple.

For a "Guilty" Hawaiian Breakfast Jew, wrap dog in bacon. Enjoy!
